Victoria Harbour is located between Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula, a natural deep-water port. After the British occupied the Kowloon Peninsula in 1861, the harbour between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon was officially named “Victoria Harbour” in honour of Queen Victoria, the reigning British monarch at the time. Victoria Harbour holds significant strategic and economic importance in Hong Kong’s history, being a key factor in Hong Kong’s rise as an international metropolis.

The night view of Victoria Harbour is one of the “world’s top three night views” (alongside Naples, Italy, and Hakodate, Hokkaido), and Hong Kong is the only city to have been selected for this honour twice. It is also one of the world’s top three natural harbours (alongside San Francisco, USA, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil).

Situated between the northern shore of Hong Kong Island and the southern shore of the Kowloon Peninsula, Victoria Harbour is flanked by towering skyscrapers, forming a spectacular skyline. At night, the myriad lights from buildings reflect on the water, intertwining with the harbour to create a dazzling, picturesque scene.

Glenealy Flyover is located on the Glenealy section of Central South, Hong Kong Island. It is a traffic facility composed of a vehicular flyover and ramps, connecting Robinson Road with the junction of Conduit Road and Ice House Street, facilitating vehicle access from Robinson Road to Conduit Road.

The design of Glenealy Flyover is intricate, integrating vehicular roads, a flyover, a pedestrian bridge, and ramps to form a three-dimensional, interwoven spatial structure. This unique design creates a visual illusion and geometric beauty, often described as a real-life “Monument Valley.” Surrounded by trees, the flyover evokes the atmosphere of a forest sky tunnel, especially at night when the lights illuminate, adding a mysterious and serene sense of adventure.

Nearby, the historic Gothic-style Immaculate Conception Cathedral of Hong Kong complements the flyover, enhancing the area’s cultural and historical ambiance. The flyover has three main entrances: at the junction of Conduit Road and Glenealy, the junction of Robinson Road and Glenealy, and near Robinson Road, providing convenient access for both pedestrians and vehicles.

Chiang Mai is a truly magical place. The downtown area is chaotic and messy, but just nearby, there’s this incredibly beautiful countryside. We decided to take a day trip by car to Mon Jam, and along the way, we passed through a valley where we spotted a pasture where you could see sheep. So, we spontaneously stopped the car to check it out.

To our surprise, we stumbled upon a delightful spot. The sheep were all so adorable, roaming freely across a hillside in a carefree and joyful manner.
